Kerie Darner

I am a Portland, Oregon based red-headed middle child born in El Salvador to missionary parents. Outside of the booth, I’m a lyric soprano, musical theatre nerd, and stage actor recovering from the corporate rat race after 30 years as a technical recruiter. I graduated from The Actors Conservatory and have trained at the LSTFI in NYC, and at RADA in London.

Being the mom to an anxiety challenged child with ADHD I love survival stories and will always root for the underdog. I’m fascinated by indigenous cultures, and love history, historical fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy. I gravitate to characters with fight, heart, and a strong will; be it on earth, in space, or an imaginary fantasy land. I’m articulate but down to earth and may be convinced to do a non-fiction title someday.
